ALL VENDORS ARE REQUESTED TO GET REGISTERED IN GEM PORTAL FOR DIFFERENT PRODUCTION SERVICES TO BE EXECUTED IN BCL. Concerned Business Associates are requested to settle down their unclaimed EMD against finished / closed tenders with submission of proper documents. In line with BCL’s initiatives towards “ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT” & looking forward to take India’s self-reliance in multimodal logistics, the Company has embarked into manufacturing of shipping containers on a major scale. Company has entered into Container manufacturing (ISO & Dwarf) indigenously under “Make in India” initiative, in bulk as import substitution. Large scale capital investment is being carried out for creation of infrastructure, dedicated for container manufacturing – both 20 ft. and 40 ft., its Angus Works in Hooghly district near Kolkata. In line with the Nation Railway Plan where the government has envisaged to increase Indian Railway’s freight coefficient, BCL’s ambitious plan of indigenously manufactured containers are in line with the vision of the Government to make India self-reliant in manufacturing containers. BCL aims to establish itself as Container Manufacturing Hub.
